Client portal privacy policy
Effective November 2, 2026
This policy covers the moveUP client portal at portal.moveup.house. moveUP is a service of NorthGroup Real Estate. The portal is only for people we've invited to use it.
What we collect
- Your Google sign-in: your email address, which we use to confirm who you are. We never see your Google password.
- What you enter: your answers on forms, your wants and deal-breakers, tour requests, feedback and notes on homes, and your checklist progress.
- Documents: files that you or we add to your folders.
Please don't enter or upload anything you'd rather share another way, such as full account numbers. Black them out first, or call us.
How we use it
We use it to help you buy a home: to work with you on your search and tours, keep your documents together, and keep our required transaction records. We don't sell your information.
Who can see it
- You, and anyone on your portal with you, such as a co-buyer, who sees the same information and documents.
- moveUP and NorthGroup Real Estate, including the broker-in-charge, as needed to serve you and supervise the transaction.
- The companies that run the portal: Google stores the information and documents, and Cloudflare delivers the portal's pages.
- Others, only when needed: people involved in your transaction when you ask us to share something, or when the law or a regulator requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we're working together, then as long as real estate rules and NorthGroup Real Estate's record policies require. Your portal access ends after your move is finished, so please save copies of anything you want to keep.
Your Google Drive
If you choose + My Drive, we share your portal folder with your Google account as view-only. We can't see the rest of your Drive. That sharing ends when your portal access closes.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your information, or ask us questions about this policy, at any time. Some records may need to be kept as described above.
